The Maiike.x project is my experiment space.  I'm playing with ideas that mull around in my head while I'm busy sewing cute koalas.  I'm putting to new use the skills I developed over nearly two decades making toys and quilts.  This is piece No. 3, 145cm long alpaca and samoyed in a moss stitch pattern.  The yarn is hand spun and dyed by a local Melbourne lady using fibres collected from friends.  The scarf took 10 hours to make.
